Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, And The Community Stood Hand In Hand As They Prayed.

(KLFY) A prayer service was held at 6 p.m. tonight in front of the CrowleyPolice Department in honor of the two women and K-9 officer who were killed in an overnight shooting. Crowley Police Officer Tate Thibodeaux was also injured in the shooting and is recovering well, Police Chief Jimmy Marijuana Stocks Broussard told News 10s Carly Laing. The prayer service waslead by Broussard, Crowley Fire Department officials, and city officials. Whether its a police officer or one of the citizens, and in this incident, it was both, it hits home, said Crowley Firefighter Chad Monceaux. Law enforcement officers, firefighters, and the community stood hand in hand as they prayed. Wednesday nights shooting left three residents dead, wounding a police officer, and killing a K-9 officer. Crowley Police Chief Jimmy Broussard said losing an officer of any kind is never easy. I handed him (Officer Tata Thibodeaux) the leash and everything and of course it became very emotional for him and for me because you could see the bond that they had. He had lost not just an animal, not just a dog, but a friend, a brother, a protector, and a shield. Crowley Firefighter Chad Monceaux said the community needs prayer now more than ever. Just keep praying for the families that were involved and also the police officers.
